There is more to a service than changing engine oil, we are transparent in how we perform the most crucual part of your vehicles maintenance.

As well as taking care of the engine bay, we perform a full walk around inspection, noting the condition of components; such as tyres, brakes*, suspension, lighting, wipers and more. *on a major service the wheels are removed so braking compononents can be inspected easier.

Service items such as Air Filters are replaced every second or third visit or based on visual condition.

If you are unsure if a major service has been undertaken in the last 2 years, we will recommend a Major Service (entailing – replacing all the filters as well as the oil) on your first visit to Clayton Park Garage- this creates a ‘baseline’ moving forward. On the next visit to us your car may well just need a simple oil change (minor service).

Modern Digital Service Records (DSR)
Nowadays stamping a service book is very rare as manufacturers have moved to a digital, cloud based service record called DSR. (We also can stamp your traditional service record if you have it). Furthermore it’s quite common for car owners to assume that you must take it to the main delaer to get a service on newer vvehicles, not only to maintain any warranty, but to keep this DSR record up to date, this is not the case.

We have full acces to the DSR system and can update this record when we have completed a service on your vehicle. Your Manufacturer Warranty will not be effected by using an indepenent garage like Clayton Park Garage providing we follow their schedule, and we do Ford, Mazda, BMW, Mercedes, Mini …..
